Blue Pen Consulting is led by Brian Wit, a seasoned finance professional with more than 20 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, strategic finance, and business leadership.

 

Brian began his career building a strong foundation in financial services and went on to spend over a decade at PayPal, where he played a key role in several high-impact initiatives. Most notably, he was deeply involved in the development and growth of PayPal’s Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) offering. Working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment within a global organization, Brian helped drive financial planning, build scalable models, develop reporting frameworks, and support a product that experienced rapid, triple-digit growth. He also built and led a team of analysts to support the business as it scaled, who were focused on efficiency and process improvement.

 

Brian is a Baltimore native and brings a strong connection to the local community. He is a graduate of Loyola High School, earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University, and received his MBA in Finance from Loyola University Maryland.

 

Throughout his career, Brian has been known for combining analytical rigor with a practical, business-oriented mindset. He focuses not just on building accurate financials, but on helping clients understand what those numbers mean and how to act on them.
